The Women Offender Reentry Collaborative (WORC) is a categorical program operated by The Work Place One-Stop Career Center in Boston.
For women who are eligible, WORC provides free career counseling, job readiness skills workshops and training, social service referrals, professional mentoring and clinical support. Our program is tailored specifically to women reentering the community following incarceration. Our speciality, of course, is workforce development - so we're naturally very interested in assisting you with the particulars of securing training and employment opportunities to help you advance in your career.
WORC is the only program of its kind in Massachusetts to take a truly holistic approach to serving the needs of reentering women. That is, if you come to us looking for work but you also have a series of other equally pressing concerns (for example, you're looking for affordable housing for yourself and your family), we'll help you tackle all of your needs as it relates to moving ahead in your career and moving beyond your past.
